ABOUT WILLIAM
Chef William Pascual was born in La Romana, a small town in the Dominican Republic. He lived and worked as a chef in the UK for many years. He is currently based in Berlin, Germany.
William is highly experienced in the kitchen, having worked in a variety of catering establishments and covering a variety of cuisines, reaching from classical French and British cuisines, over Mediterranean and Spanish, to German, North- and South American, Mexican and Caribbean cuisines.
Through relentless ambition and hard work, William has worked his way up, starting as a pot washer and kitchen assistant, then working for years as Chef de Partie, to becoming Sous Chef and now working as a Head Chef.
He is deeply familiar with the catering industry and has acquired experience in a large variety of food establishments, ranging from small neighbourhood cafés to highly trendy restaurants such as Soho's La Bodega Negra and Notting Hill's Taqueria in London, and from cozy Inns in the Scottish Highlands to high-class 5-star hotels such as the Ritz Carlton, Hotel de Rome and the Intercontinental Berlin.
William has had the privilege to travel extensively, experiencing the food in diverse places around the world: New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Marrakech, Budapest, Rome, Amsterdam, Jerusalem, Santo Domingo - to name just some of the world-class culinary cities he has visited.
He holds a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery from Westminster Kingsway College in London, UK.
